RADIOLOGYVIEWING.COM (RV)-Viewing Imaging procedures and Reports on Line

BAB Nuclear Radiology, P.C. is a diagnostic imaging corporation providing professional services to physicians and patients in Suffolk County. BAB Radiology was established in 1972. Dr. Paul Bonheim joined BAB in 1975. Dr Bonheim and Dr. Jeffrey Warhit are the primary partners and medical directors today. Our practices have grown to include locations in Shirley, Bay Shore, Huntington, Hauppauge, Commack, and Amityville.

We have various mediums for which you can currently request your cases to be viewed. Please let our Professional Relations Representative know which medium that you prefer so that we can properly update your “physician file” in the computers.

Traditional Film: All cases are available on traditional film. Please let your Professional Services Representative know if you would like your patients studies delivered to your offices, or we can provide your patients with a copy at your request.

CD: Many of today’s imaging procedures can be copied to CD. The CD program (Power Reader) only requires a one-time down load to opens CD’s concurrently. CD’s do not require memory or storage on your computer unless you are planning on integrating the case into your Electronic Medical Records. CD’s can also be delivered to your office when the patient is finished with their exam. The patient can be provided with a copy of the CD at no charge.

RV.COM-Viewing Imaging procedures and Reports on Line

RV.COm is a program that we provide through installation in your office computers that allows referring physicians the ability to review reports and images on line. This program also does not require memory or storage on your computer, because it is a web-based program.

We recommend that physicians that prefer to have RV.COM installed on their computer have a broadband connectivity to the Intranet. The minimum PC Requirements are a Pentium 4, 256 MB RAM, 20GB HDD. For installation of this program on your office computer, please call our Professional Relations Representatives and schedule a time that is convenient for you.

There is no charge for RV.COM. After the installation is complete our Professional Representatives will give you an individual user name and password to be able to view cases.

If your having trouble with RV.COM please call our toll free number at 1-888-343-9146 and press #5 for Support.

For older images that are not available on RV.COM or can not currently be viewed, please contact our offices with the patient name, study type, and date of the exam. We will be happy to “push” the image to your physician account for viewing.
